Great Product Great Service
By: Shane on 17 April 2023I used this for a DIY tail tidy/inner fender eliminator on my Yamaha Bolt after reading the Ellaspede blog on tail tidies. This product was awesome on my bike, I coupled it with the reflector SKU: EAC134 and number plate light SKU: EL095. For my application I cut about 30mm of the end; I drilled the holes to match my mounting bolts that were used to hold my inner guard in place; I had to drill the number plate light hole a tiny bit larger to accomodate the light I chose; I drilled a couple of mounting holes for the number plate light bolts; I made two bends in the vice; I used rubber washers, normal washers and nylons on the mounting bolts; I used rubber washers on the number plate bolts; I painted it gunmetal grey which worked out to be a really good match for my rear fender. This thing is made to perfection. The included rubber grommet that goes behind the number plate was a great idea to reduce number place vibration/fatigue. Overall I was very impressed, there was no way I could have made something this perfect if I had of tried to make it myself.
